HOTEL SERENA, Badia (South Tyrol)

Hotel Serena offers rooms reflecting the interior design of Badia and the Dolomites. All rooms include a bathroom with a shower or bath and toilet, a 32" flat-screen TV, a hairdryer, a safe, and a telephone. Some rooms feature a balcony with mountain views, LCD TV, wooden furniture, and carpeted floors. South Tyrolean culinary items can be purchased. The dinner room hosts candlelight evenings and Ladin dinners with dumplings, fried pasta pockets, goulash, polenta, and spätzle. A breakfast buffet includes South Tyrolean cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bread, yogurt, cereals, homemade jams, pastry, fresh fruit, and local farm butter. Hotel Serena has a wellness area with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath, whirlpool, Kneipp baths, and a terrace with mountain views. Hotel Serena is in Badia, with views of the village and Sasso Santa Croce mountain. It is 300 meters from the ski slopes and near the village center. The hotel is 100 km from Bolzano. The hotel is near the Sella massif, connected by ski lifts across the four Ladin valleys. There are trails passing by farms, mountain dairies, pastures, lakes, and forests. The hotel is accessible via the main road (SS49) to Val Pusteria to Brunico/Bruneck. One can take the 'autostrada dell'Alemagna' (A27) to Longarone and then carry on to Cortina d'Ampezzo and take the road to Arabba and then carry on to Campolongo Pass.

Hotel Serena provides a private ski bus to the Alta Badia ski resort (400 m away). The hotel provides organic, home-grown food and caters to intolerances with gluten-free and lactose-free dishes.
